Manistee County Medical Care Facility (MCMCF) contracts with HealthPRO Heritage, a top-10 rehabilitation service provider in the United States. Rehabilitation services include, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. Our therapists are trained professionals with specialized interest in geriatric treatment. Therapy enhances patient independence and safety. Participation in therapeutic treatment reduces the potential for accidents and injuries while augmenting quality of life.

Therapy Services
Therapists diagnose and treat individuals with medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit the patient's ability to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Each individual is assessed and a plan is developed that includes treatment techniques that promote the ability to move, reduce pain and restore function. The ultimate goal is for the patient to return to their desired living environment.

Restorative Services are provided by the MCMCF staff. Services are available for patients or residents to leverage their remaining functional skills. Daily participation in restorative services help them maintain strength, endurance, and functional mobility for optimal safety and quality of life.
